The students were given their topics today and if they were affirmative or negative. We spent a period reviewing the aspects of a debate. We discussed what makes a strong debate. We will continue the discussion towards the end of next week when the teams will discuss their ideas prior to the actual debate on the 9th. Each student should prepare a 45 – 60 second idea to support or negate their proposition.
