Step 1: Use faint pencil lines to mark off the drawing area about 2-3 cm around the
sides of the poster.
Step 2: Mark off an area in one corner where you will list the hidden items.
Step 3: Come up with a theme for all the objects if you want.
Scatter the doodles around the space so there is an even mix across the page.
Record all the objects neatly in a list in the box at the bottom
Step 4: Fill in the bulk of the remaining drawing area with random object doodles.
These will throw folks off the trail when they are searching for your personalized hidden doodles.
Step 5: When you reach a point when only very small white spaces are left, fill them in with flourishes, decorative doodles, stars, and other simple shapes.
Step 6: Choose several complementary colours so your finished piece has a colour theme to it.
Add one colour at a time to a few doodles, but don’t colour everything; leave a balance of black-and-white and coloured doodles for a more interesting composition.
